Shaftesbury Avenue – Living Room

About This Project

The brief for this space was combining old and new furniture and decor.

With the majority of designs, they need a starting point and in this case it was the client’s terracotta sofa, chairs and curtains that had been passed down to them.

Adding a new chesterfield sofa meant that we could pull in other colours. Using a dark grey, we zoned the room, utilising the arch, meaning that whilst sitting the client no longer felt they were in the hallway.

New flooring, rug and fireplace allowed us to create a warm and cosy space fit to both relax and entertain in .

Allowing the colour to spill out into the hallway, gives the perception of a larger space if needed.
